It’s been great working on Far Away, but we’ve been missing the con scene. The last few months have been intensive design and elaborate playtests. With Far Away preparing to head to manufacturing, we’re preparing to hit the road again.
Saturday, August 10th, we will be part of Board Game Night at Seattle’s Arcane Comics. From 2-6pm, we’ll be training new explorers for the Far Away program. Bring an exploring buddy or work with a qualified supervisor to discover new worlds today. Also demoing at Arcane will be Taco vs Burrito, who either have a card game about constructing TexMex meals or are the caterers.
August 16th-17th is OpttaCon in Sequim, WA. We had a great time last year in the picturesque peninsula and are returning once more. We’ll be demoing the whole CPG catalog, as well as running full games of Catalyst, Conspire, and Far Away for players who aren’t afraid of commitment.
SHUX is October 4th-6th in Vancouver, BC. We’ll have more information on that event soon, but given we launched Far Away there last year, we’re excited to return and share the progress with our fans.
Will we make cameos at other conventions? Please let us know where we should head next.
