The Cherry Picked Crew is right now on the road south. We are en route to KublaCon, the four-day board gaming extravaganza in San Francisco. Like last year, CPG is rocking a booth in the dealers’ hall and running longer games on the side. Unlike last year, we have Conspire in stock, so ready those tinfoil hats.
KublaCon Decompression
KublaCon ’17 was the largest tabletop convention we have participated in. We rolled down with some fellow Seattle game designers to share the costs and stresses of the four days of con and twenty-six hours of driving. We had a great time, to be sure. Our games were solid and our new friends were a pleasure to play with. The three of us also learned a lot about how we need to operate at cons, as well as what we would love to see from conventions in the future. Hopefully, both indie game developers and con operators can learn something from our experiences.
KublaCon - Great Name or Greatest Name?
CPG is going on a road trip to San Francisco next week. We are hopping in the Do Better Honda Accord with our friends from Do Better Games and Leiker Games to traverse the wild expanses of I-5 and reach the fabled city Khan stronghold, San Francisco. KublaCon 2017 kicks off May 26th. Won’t you join us?
