1500 copies of Far Away arrived on our doorstep yesterday. After the herculean effort of moving those boxes into an upstairs apartment, we are ready to redistribute the game. Kickstarter backers and pre-orders will be fulfilled ASAP. Following that, review copies will be sent out. We look forward to seeing Far Away in the hands of all our fans.
Far Away - Arrival Status
Far Away is still stuck in the Seattle ports. We have been given the delivery estimate of next week (by the end of February). As you can see from our port scouting mission photos, the port is overflowing with containers, thanks to epidemic-induced shipping complications. Rest assured, we’ll get everyone’s games to them as soon as possible. Thank you for your support.
Far Away Retrospective - Iterative Design
This is the second in a three-part retrospective series on Far Away. Over the next few weeks, we’ll explore the development or Far Away and the lessons learned along the way.
When I first started working with Alex, I had just started graphic design school. He offered me some cash to illustrate Drink! And we’ve been working together ever since. As I learned more in school, I was able to do more at Cherry Picked Games and it’s obvious with the progression of our games. Far Away was our largest and most challenging mission yet.
