Hello Blog Readers,
It’s the holiday season and the orders are flying in. We’re leaving a couple notes at the top of the blog to help everyone out.
Order now!
The post office is experiencing an extremely high volume of packages. We’ll try to speed things along on our end, but we can’t control the transit to your home. Realistically, if we’re able to drop your order off by noon on Saturday (12/19), there’s a decent chance it’ll arrive before Christmas. After that, we’ll still rush your game to the post, but expect it to arrive after Christmas.
All of the above only applies to US customers. If you’re outside of the US, shipping from us takes multiple weeks. You may be able to find a local retailer or online seller that’s stocked and ready, but anything directly from us will have to be a Valentine’s gift instead of a Christmas one.
Missing pieces
We updated our policies on missing and damaged pieces. Basically, if you’re missing something from a new game, let us know and be sure to provide proof of purchase. Also, be sure to check Far Away piece counts against the errata or online manual version. If you message us and don’t get a response, please check your spam folder.
We should also mention that only 3 people have reported missing Far Away pieces. That’s under 0.2% of the print run, which feels like a good number. We’ll likely use the same manufacturer for a reprint.
2021 plans
We’ll write up a full blog post about our upcoming projects, but it’s hard to contain the excitement. We’re working on our next game, Hair of the Dog. We have a print-and-play prototype ready for testing. If anyone plays and fills out the included survey, we’ll make a donation to The Humane Society.
We’re also running low on Far Away and Drink! We’re exploring options for a second printing and expansion for each game. We won’t make any concrete decisions until we reach a critical inventory level. If you’re on the fence about getting a game now or waiting until the next print run, we’ll note that the cost of the games will probably increase due to inflation. Get your copy while we have them and enjoy the expansion when and if we release it.
Happy holidays!
